The bar is where this house has a color of its own: blue and violet surfaces, a row of filament bulbs above the counter, backlit bottle shelves — and on top of it a metallic pink flamingo that pulls the whole frame one way.
Colored artificial light is the case where an automatic white balance can only decide wrongly. It tries to calculate the color away and leaves a gray room that never existed. So the balance goes on the white of the lamps and the color stays.
The flamingo also shows how a bar should be photographed: not as an overview but through the object a guest remembers. Overview pictures of bars all look alike; a prop does not.
