Prices and how it works – what a photo or film project costs
How an offer comes about, what decides the price, and which rates are published as fixed.
What does a photographer in Frankfurt cost?
There is no single answer: a number that fits a hotel walkthrough, a corporate event and a portrait at the same time would be the wrong number for all three. Every project is quoted on its own — the inquiry states the scope, the offer states the price, and both are settled before anything is photographed or filmed.
Every inquiry is without obligation. The forms ask for the date and the place, the scope, what the pictures are for and the budget you have in mind; none of them asks for more than a dependable offer needs.
A session starts at 250 euro plus VAT. What lies above that is decided by the scope.
Day rates and package prices are quoted on request, matched to the scope, the usage rights and the date. What this page states are the rates that hold regardless of the individual project: travel, and changes made after the shoot.
What decides the price
- Scope
- How many pictures, dishes, rooms, properties or employees — for a video production, the type of film and its length. It is the largest item and the first question on every form.
- Depth of the editing
- A true-to-color, restrained look is not the same job as a high-gloss finish with retouching. The look is chosen before the shoot and applies to the whole set.
- Extras
- Drone footage, HDR, a replaced sky, set design, raw files, an event trailer alongside the stills, on-site editing of the highlights. Every inquiry form lists them separately, so they appear in the offer rather than on the invoice.
- Time on location
- Half a day in the studio, an event that runs into the night, or several shooting days in different places are different bookings. Shoots are possible seven days a week, in the evening and on public holidays too.
- Travel
- None inside the inner zone of the Rhine-Main region, a flat 25.00 euro in the outer circle, and beyond that 0.55 euro per kilometer plus the same flat fee. From 250 kilometers an overnight allowance is added.

Five price lists — studio, events, food, interior & exterior, video — give the per-picture and per-cut rate for a change made after the shoot: an extra image, a new color look, a black-and-white version, a replaced sky, one more cut. The figures are net prices.

What the offer describes is what gets photographed or filmed. Short-notice dates are possible as long as the day is still free.

The pictures arrive in a private gallery in the client portal, where you make your selection and download the finished files. Video projects are reviewed through Frame.io.
