Art

Art Fine art photography, drawings and wall art

To me, art is the part of the work that needs no commission. I photograph for myself: landscapes, light and the places I come across on my travels — over the years, travel has become part of who I am. Away from the camera, I love to draw, and since 2026 I have been designing wall art: pop art, gold, ink and characters with a wink. A selection of my photography is here; the wall art is in the Art Store.

  • A river bend between wooded slopes at dusk
  • A lake between steep mountains in golden haze
  • A river and its castle from the air in the evening light
  • A stone tower at the end of a wall walk against the setting sun
  • A castle in the forest under dark storm clouds
  • A lighthouse under a gathering storm sky
  • Sunset over the caldera of Santorini
  • A wooden jetty running out into the surf
  • A coastline and its tower seen from the drone
  • Grasses and a cornflower backlit by the evening sun
  • A bridge pylon lit in violet at night
  • A moated castle mirrored in its water
  • Sea cliffs in orange evening light
  • Waves on a beach under a violet evening sky
  • A harbor entrance with a lion statue and a lighthouse before the mountains
  • A lighthouse on a rocky coast above the sea at sunset
  • The Burj Al Arab in Dubai at dusk
  • A rocky shore and surf under a pink evening sky

My photography by color

Series

Five sequences, each with a thought of its own

Candlelight on a ballet stage, masks in the dark, evening light on water, the city at night and landscapes from above. Not references but series: large images, little text.

Light table

A photograph is made twice

On my light table, landscapes lie like prints: you can move them, bring one to the top and look at it through the loupe. Next to it is a contact sheet from one shoot, with the pictures I would choose circled.

Process

How my pictures are made

What my look does to a photograph, where the light came from and how a picture is built: reconstructed from finished pictures, with comparisons, lighting sketches and lines.

Sketchbook

Digital sketches — generated with AI; motifs and selection by me

Pop art wall art: a lion in sunglasses in a red convertible against graffiti

Wall art

Rich Kids, gold and gentlemen

My wall art is loud, ironic and made for rooms with an attitude: characters with champagne and cash, abstract work with gold leaf, ink and cars. Every motif is available as canvas, poster, acrylic glass or aluminum dibond.

Editions

Landscapes as fine art prints

A selection of these photographs is available as prints on Hahnemühle paper — and the looks of my films as LUT collections. Everything is available on request.

Art for spaces

Art made in the place it hangs

For hotels, offices, restaurants and practices, I put together art for the whole building: from the Art Store and Editions, or as a series I photograph on site, in the city, in the region and in the details of the building.

Websites for artists

A stage for other artists’ work

I also build websites for painters, photographers, sculptors and musicians: a gallery that gives the work room, inquiries without detours and a back end where you keep works, prices and texts up to date yourself. Most recently for the painter Valentina Reina, in four languages.

Collaborate

Free projects, made together

For my free work, I am looking for people who bring a craft of their own: dance, music, make-up, styling, a face with character or a place with a story. No fees either way, and everyone gets the images.

My pictures for your screen

Landscapes from my photography and wall art from the Art Store are available as free wallpapers for phone and desktop, to download with no sign-up.

Guessing game

Where was that?

Ten of my travel photographs, a world map and your guess: how close can you get to the places where I took them?
