Light table How I choose my pictures
To me, a photograph is made twice: once when I press the shutter and once when I choose. Only a few pictures survive a shoot, and deciding which ones is as much a part of the work as the light. What remains says more about how I see than anything I leave out.
Arrange my landscapes yourself
Twelve landscapes from my gallery, laid out like prints on a light box. The table is digital; the photographs are mine.
Tap a picture to see it full size.
Drag the prints with your mouse. A click brings a picture to the top, a double click opens it full size. On the keyboard, Tab selects a picture, the arrow keys move it and Enter opens it.
My pick from one shoot
Ten pictures from “Water”, a portrait shoot at and in the water during golden hour. Circled in red grease pencil are the ones I would choose.
My pick: Picture 1, 4 and 8
This is not a historic contact sheet, nor the whole shoot: these are the ten pictures published on this website, set as a sheet. The numbers count this sheet, not the frames of the camera.
