AI trailers & brand films
A brand film without a shoot day – AI trailers and brand films by Patrick Schmetzer
This is what my AI films look like today: cinematic pictures, claims on screen and music by me, all made with AI and built on the edit. This one is a brand film for a surface-protection brand, and I make one like it for you, too.

Brand film for a surface-protection brand · 34 seconds
Film and music: Patrick Schmetzer — picture and sound made with AI, the music made for this film
Stone chips, claws, suitcases: everyday life hits the protective film, not the surface underneath.
This is what I make today
A film like this one, made for your brand: with your claims, your look and music I make for it.
What it is
Pictures nobody had to build a set for
A mountain pass in the last light, a dog at the boot, a stone chip in slow motion: a film like this would otherwise take a shoot day, a crew, a car and a lot of luck with the weather. With AI the scenes are made at the computer, and I direct each of them like a camera: shot by shot, until light, movement and mood fit your brand.
What turns that into a film is the same as on any shoot: a script that says one thing, an edit cut to the music and copy that appears at the right moment. I have done that with a camera for more than twelve years, and now without one as well. The music comes from me, too: made for the film, no stock music.
01
Script & look
One idea, one sentence the film should say, and a look that belongs to your brand.
02
Scenes from AI
Places, weather and moments no shooting schedule could deliver, directed shot by shot.
03
Edit & sound
Cut to music made for the film, with sound effects, on-screen copy and an ending that stays with you.
04
Every version
Landscape for the website, portrait for the phone, German and English from the same edit.
What for
Where a film like this works
Home page & shop
The brand film at the very top, and on every product page a short film that shows what the product is for.
Social media
The same scenes in portrait format for reels, stories and shorts, without a second shoot.
Launch & trade fair
A trailer for a new product, an opening or the screen on a trade fair stand.
Advertising
Short versions for ads, in several variants, so you can test which one works.
To be honest
What AI can do and what it cannot
AI invents pictures; it does not record anything. So your real product, your team or your premises I show as they are: with footage I shoot or you already have, cut in between the generated scenes. And where a scene is generated, I say so, so that nobody takes a product feature as proven that is only shown.
How it runs
From the idea to the finished cut
01
Conversation
What should the film say, where will it run, in which languages and formats? Then you get an offer.
02
Script
Scenes, on-screen copy and the direction of the music on one page you approve before a single picture is made.
03
Scenes & edit
The shots and the music are made, the edit goes onto them, and you see a first cut to correct.
04
Versions
The finished film in every format and language agreed, ready for the website and the channels.
The price depends on length, number of scenes and versions. It is in the offer before I start.

- That depends on the length, the number of scenes and the versions you need: a thirty-second trailer is something else than a film for every page of a shop. After a short conversation you receive an offer with a fixed scope and price.
- Yes, but not from the AI: a generated picture shows a product that looks like yours, not yours. Your product, your premises or your software I show with real footage that I shoot or you bring, cut in between the generated scenes.
- From me. The music is made for each film and built on the edit, no stock music from a library. The film at the top of this page was made that way.
- Without a shoot day it is faster than a classic brand film, because neither a date nor the weather has to be waited for. Exactly how long is in the offer; it depends mostly on how many versions and rounds of corrections there are.
- Yes. Portrait for reels and stories, landscape for the website and on-screen copy in the languages you need all come from the same edit. Which versions it will be, we fix in the offer.
- At the hand-over I tell you which scenes are generated, and if you like I label them in the film. Whether and where you have to state that in your advertising depends on the use; I do not give legal advice.

Planning something like this?
Tell me what the film should say, where it will run and in which languages and formats you need it. Then you get an offer with a fixed scope and price. The inquiry commits you to nothing.
