In summer, the opening ceremony of the mon amour edition was held on the Liberut ship (Eisener Steg). Just when Aperos Frenchies thought this place couldn't be better, Freilut improved their location throughout the winter to welcome the wind and rain of guests. Therefore, regardless of the weather, we can now enjoy the scenery of Liberut and enjoy the magnificent view of the Frankfurt skyline all year round! Last but not least, our guests enjoyed a delicious St Germain cocktail, a French liqueur made from Elderflowers! Great location and delicious cocktails: the perfect combination to enjoy the evening!
The location is a boat. A white pontoon with portholes lies on the Main, benches and tables on the foredeck under folded parasols, an upper deck with railings and a glass roof above, and the anchor mark with the Freigut lettering on the side.
The opposite bank is half the picture: the row of houses along the Mainkai, the tower of the cathedral behind it with a crane beside it, an excursion boat at the pier to the left. Taken just after sunset, because that is when both work at once — the skyline still has modelling and the deck is already lit. An hour earlier the cathedral is a silhouette; an hour later you can see neither the boat nor the city behind it.
