Several productions around Bucherer Fine Jewellery produced event photographs, two grand opening trailers, a Christmas production and a photo series alongside it. Together these pieces show how jewelry, rooms, guests and brand partnerships can be held inside one connected visual story.
This case study gathers four projects that stand on their own in the portfolio. Read side by side they form a brand portrait that shows more than any single piece of jewelry does.
A grand opening on two levels at once
The grand opening had to keep two levels visible at the same time: the atmosphere of the evening and the jewelry on show. Close frames hold rings, necklaces and bracelets in the available light of the boutique. Other frames put the guests, the presentations and the room at the center.
Outside the entrance a Bentley in matching livery adds the visible link between the brands involved. Frames like that are the reason an event series should not be built from portraits alone: they explain who worked together that evening.
The full series is in the project Bucherer Fine Jewellery – Grand Opening.

Press day and opening night as separate trailers
The press day and the opening night became two separate trailers. During the day the boutique, the cases and the products could be filmed calmly, without guests crossing the frame. In the evening it was people, movement and the event itself that carried the film.
That separation is the real move in this production. One single film would have had to mix the two and would have come out weaker in both directions: too restless for the product work, too empty for the evening.
Both versions sit in the project Grand Opening – two trailers.

Christmas: fewer subjects, more quiet
The later Christmas trailer worked with markedly fewer subjects: gift packaging, ribbons, light and the glass façade of the boutique. The photo series alongside it keeps the same restraint and relies on a few deliberate frames rather than on a full report of an evening.
That gives the brand a second register. The grand opening is an occasion with many people in it; the Christmas production is a quiet one that works mainly through material and light.
You can see it in Christmas – Bucherer Fine Jewellery and in the pictures from the Christmas production.

What the four productions add up to
Taken apart they are an opening night, two trailers and a Christmas series. Taken together they form a brand portrait that does not only show individual pieces, but ties product aesthetics, interior design and particular occasions into one thing.
For a brand in the upper segment that is exactly the difference between an image archive and a visual world: the frames come from different occasions, yet they can be used next to each other without a visible break.
More work of this kind is under event photography.
