B&K GmbH, an outstanding company in the automotive trade with headquarters in Osnabrück and part of the Wellergruppe Holding SE & Co. KG, operates 25 branches in Germany. The company is known for selling new BMW and Mini vehicles, but also offers a wide range of used cars. As a member of the WELLERGROUP, one of the country’s leading automotive trading groups, B&K complements its offering with brands such as Toyota, Lexus, Seat and Cupra. With the sale of almost 23,000 cars in 2021, B&K is one of the most important BMW and Mini dealers in Germany. A central part of B&K’s corporate philosophy is the strong focus on customer satisfaction, which makes the company particularly attractive to consumers.
The frame that shows the product is a close-up of the front fairing: the dealer’s mark and the group’s addition on matte gray, the manufacturer’s lettering below it, people in high-visibility vests out of focus behind.
With a product the dealer does not own, that order is the job: the scooter’s brand stays legible, but what is being sold is the dealer. So his mark sits in the plane of focus and the manufacturer’s one step below it.
The rest is surface. Matte plastic takes light differently from paint: it shows no reflections but texture, and it needs an edge from the side for the shape of a vehicle to read at all.
