Property photography for Von Poll Immobilien in Oestrich-Winkel in the Rheingau. Listing photography is a planning job: a house is photographed at the time of day when the sun reaches its main façade, and in a wine village the setting is part of the property. The images were made for the marketing of the listing.
The cover frame is the agent’s wordmark on white. In real estate photography that is the rule rather than the exception: the pictures belong to the firm’s presentation and not to the photographer’s, and the sequence starts with the mark.
Listing photographs follow a fixed list: street view, garden, every living room, kitchen, bathroom, the view from the window. Whatever is missing, the first interested party asks for by email — so the list is agreed before the appointment rather than added to afterwards.
And a house is photographed from the side the sun falls on. That is not a preference but scheduling: a north façade in the morning is gray and stays gray, however long you wait.
