LA ARGENTINA product photography

High-end food and product photography for the LA ARGENTINA steakhouse in Frankfurt. A key visual for the LA ARGENTINA steakhouse in Frankfurt.

A key visual for the LA ARGENTINA steakhouse in Frankfurt. Built on a dark blue gradient: Martini Bitter and Giffard flanking a spritz glass with a dried orange slice, two more slices on a small wooden board in front, a tonic bottle to the right, and the bull’s-head logo bottom right. The same scene exists in three crops — square, wide and panoramic — because an advertising image now runs in three formats.

Three crops from one scene are not an afterthought but the condition of the setup. Knowing that square, wide and panoramic will all be needed, you place the bottles so that something stands in all three frames — and leave space at the top and sides that may be cut away later.

The dark blue gradient is the color decision behind it. Orange and blue sit opposite each other on the wheel; the dried slices and the bitter glow without their saturation having to be lifted.

And the logo at bottom right is why the arrangement leans left. A key visual is delivered with type on it, and the space for that is made during the setup, not in post.
