What was filmed is the show: a figure in a white full-body costume with helmet and LED strips, plus white fabric wings that turn violet in the beam of the spots. Against black nothing of the venue is left but the apparition.
A costume that lights itself reverses the usual job. It is not the room being exposed with a person in it — the person is the source, so the exposure goes on the LED strips and everything else may disappear.
At a night themed white and pink that is also the color the whole evening carries. Whatever else in the frame is white — guests’ clothes, decoration, balloons — takes on the same stage light and holds the edit together.
