Everyone wearing the same thing is not a coincidence; it is what holds the pictures together as a set.
A team in matching black against a light wall answers a practical problem: staff change. Shoot the individual portraits in one setup and a new person can be added later without falling out of the team page.
So a setup like this is written down and not merely used: distance to the wall, height of the light, focal length, crop. A salon adding a colleague two years later then needs no new concept, only the same frame.
