The international TOP100 meeting of the Hörbiger group in Frankfurt produced a photographic report and an event trailer. The production followed not only the stage program but the different working and meeting formats of the gathering.
At an internal event that adds a question public occasions never raise: what may be photographed at all.
Making the work visible
Speakers were photographed in direct exchange with the audience, not only at the lectern. Presentations, flip charts and shared analysis stay in the frames as visible evidence of the work being done.
That is what separates the series from a pure stage record. Anyone who later wants to know what was worked on at this meeting can see it in the picture rather than take the caption on trust.
Alongside that the series records conversations, dinners, honors and the Frankfurt Westhafen as the setting. It is in the project Hörbiger – TOP 100 MEETING.

Confidential material is often in the frame
At internal company events the handling of confidential material matters more than anywhere else. Screens and working documents can carry central information, and a slide in the background is readable on a high-resolution picture.
So it has to be settled before the shutter is pressed which content is fit for internal use and which for public use. Settling it afterwards means throwing away good pictures that never needed to be taken.
In practice that means a contact who can answer the question, and a selection split into two sets before anything is handed over.

The trailer adds the sequence
The trailer adds movement and the order of the day to the report. Together the two formats convey the character of an international working meeting without turning confidential material into the attraction.
That is the balance this kind of production is about: the event should be recognizable while its content stays inside the company.
The film is under Top100 Meeting – trailer, related work under event photography.
