A portfolio shows finished photographs and films. What stays invisible are the many steps without which those results would never exist.
Everything that happens before the day
That includes briefings, running orders, location checks and agreeing on the formats that will be needed. Depending on the commission, different things are added:
- At an event, access and the people to ask for are settled in advance.
- For interiors, the rooms have to be prepared and tidied.
- At a corporate date, it is agreed which content may be published.
Everything that follows the production
After the production comes the selection. Similar frames are compared, colors are matched to one another, and files are prepared for their different uses. A client may need high-resolution pictures, web versions and social formats at the same time.
What can be booked beyond that is listed under additional services.
Work that is meant to go unnoticed
None of this is supposed to be visible in the result. It is what makes a finished set feel obvious, consistent and dependable in use.
The portfolio shows the visible half. Planning, communication and selection are the foundation underneath it – the FAQ answers the questions that come up most often.
