An LVM company event in Frankfurt, covered as a day in the city rather than a day in a hall. The group travels by velotaxi — a column of yellow rickshaws in front of period façades, on the Zeil, outside the Marriott — with participant portraits in between, the big group photograph on a half-timbered square, and a spiral staircase from above. A moving format offers no fixed position: you work ahead of it, get there first and let the group ride into the frame.
One frame taken from low down, almost off the ground: a row of cycle rickshaws stands on the paved square, their bodywork in yellow, pink and red, lettered "FeM Mädchenhaus" and "www.fem-schutzengel.de", one carrying the hashtag #SQUADONAMISSION. A rider is already in the saddle. Behind them the period façades around the square, passers-by in the sun.
The low viewpoint is the whole decision: at eye level this would be a row of parked bikes. From below, the curved bodies become a line running through the picture, and the lettering on them is large enough to read — which, for an action that campaigns for a cause, is the actual purpose of the photograph.
